Crimson Wave: First Prize Winners at WeStart 2018!

Recently, our team decided to delve headfirst into the startup world with our passion project, Crimson Wave. Since then, we're excited to announce that our idea won first prize and $500 at the WeStart-BLC 2018 Competition this part March!

WeStart is Wellesley College’s first entrepreneurship community and it's striving to making Wellesley a powerhouse for women entrepreneurs. This year, WeStart received a grant to host Wellesley’s first 36-hour Startup Weekend with our neighboring colleges: Babson and Olin. Over the course of the weekend, eight teams from the three colleges spent 20+ hours working on various startup ideas and receiving mentorship from over twenty mentors and workshop hosts. After practicing our pitch and delving deeper into understanding our target users, Margaret and I came out of the weekend much more knowledgable and super excited about Crimson Wave's future.!
